To someone who makes others so happy

We all know someone like this and what better way to show them we appreciate them than by setting a beautiful handmade card. With Avant Garden you can do just that. This is a gorgeous stamp set that has single or layered stamping techniques. In just a few minutes you can create this card.

Card Recipe
So Saffron cardstock (105118). Cut 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 . Fold in half and score with bone folder.
I took the basic black ink (140931) and stamped around the edges of the card with the splatter stamp.

Cut the  next layer of the card which is whisper white (100730)  at 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 and set aside.
Delightful Dijon pattern paper is from the Designer Series Paper Pack (138432)  and is cut at 4 x 5 1/4. Layer it to the whisper white piece of paper with snail adhesive (104332). Take a piece of the 1/8 silver ribbon 132137) and wrap around the layered panel. You can adhere the ribbon to the back with scotch tape or with the glue runner. Adhere the panel to the card base centering as equally as possible.

Take a piece of scrap whisper white card stock and stamp the flower image using black ink. I used the image on the bottom left of the stamp set. Using So Saffron ink (126957) and the image on the bottom right stamp over the top of the flower.  Add your leaves using cucumber crush ink (138324) and stamp as many as you like.  Using my Big Shot (143263) and the stitched framelits (145372) which will be available again on January 16  cut out the flower using the 3rd largest oval framelit. Using the largest oval framelit, die cut the silver glimmer paper (135314). Attach the flower to the glimmer paper with dimensionals (104430). After peeling the backing from the dimensionals add
a glue dot (103683) to the back of each dimensional. This is to allow the dimensionals to adhere to the glimmer paper. Attach the finished flower panel to the front of the card with snail adhesive.

I stamped the sentiment on a piece of scrap whisper white using cucumber crush ink and cut out using the second largest oval. I added the stamped leaf image to the bottom of the oval with So Saffron ink. I attached the sentiment to the card with snail adhesive.

You can add the silver bow to the flower stem if desired.

Thanks for joining me and I hope you like this card. I would love to see your creations using this card.

Happy Stamping
