Simple Elegant Card

Using the Thoughtful Branches bundle (144328).  This bundle is a limited purchase from August 2 to August 31 only. This is a quick simple card to make and so elegant when done. The splash of color of the birds and sentiment make this card pop.

The card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 using whisper white card stock. The second layer is also whisper white card stock and measures 4 x 5 1/4. I used stampin dimensionals to pop this layer up from the base.
The tree was cut using my Big Shot and the  Beautiful Branches thinly dies and then adhered to the card using the fine tip glue pen.  I stamped the birds and sentiment using watermelon wonder ink and the again using the dies cut the birds. The birds are on a dimensional to give dimension to the card. I used a punch to cut the sentiment which I added dimensionals to.

I love the look of this card. Makes me want to send it to myself lol.

Hello Note Pad Holder

I'm working on projects a an upcoming workshop. I decided to do a note holder they could use during the workshop to keep notes on after they completed the project. I put together the note book using 3x5 ruled index cards and did the binding on my cinch, (he he I had to learn to use it to make this notebook.) They will do the stamping and assembly of the rest of the note book during class. Here is a picture of the finished notebook.

Birthday Card

I made this birthday card for my granddaughter. She is undeniably the sweetest little red head I've ever met and certainly one of a kind. I used the Sweet Cupcake stamp set and the cupcake Framelits.

Beautiful Surprise

Last card for today. I sat down and just randomly started pulling colors to stamp on a scrap piece of watercolor paper. After I was done, I really liked the finished result. I cut it down and attached it to a card base. I love the effect of just letting things flow without any planning.

In the Meadow

This stamp set is my favorite by far. I was inspired by Dawn Griffith's card, so I decided to try this technique that I've never done before. It took me several tries before I was satisfied with it but sometimes I amaze myself lol. It makes me want to take a ride to our nearby lake and enjoy the scenery.

Peaceful setting

My take on a card with the Thoughtful Branches and Beautiful Branches Thinlets. I'm so glad I took advantage of the preorder. This  bundle becomes available for purchase in August.

First Workshop

The first workshop is now complete. The agony of the clock getting closer to the start time and no cars approaching the driveway. Argh you all know the anxiety when you host an event and no one shows up. Then just a few minutes before the start time, vehicles start pulling in. YEA they have come!

My first workshop was successful and my host Sarah and I couldn't be any happier. The guests had fun and got to take home some great projects and discover Stampin Up stamp sets can be used for other things than making cards.

First Workshop Card

Tomorrow is my first workshop. Excited but nervous. Hoping I get another workshop scheduled.
This is the card we will be making. I hope everyone loves it as much as I do. How can they not, they are all dog lovers so it will appeal to them.  Bella is so darn cute!

Wish me luck!

Marquee messages

I will be featuring this card at another workshop later in July. This is a 3 tier card. I will probably do this as an online workshop so you can participate in the comfort of your home and on your own time unless you prefer to get together in someone's home. I will have more details at Saturday's workshop.

Stamping on candles

I love that using stamps can be so versatile. The little hedge hogs from the Love you lots stamp set are adorable. I love the way they look on the candle. This set can be earned by booking a workshop in home or online. This is. Great way to earn free stamp sets.

Born to Ride Card

I must admit, this is one of my favorite stamp sets (I think I say that about all of them lol).
I wasn't going to get this set since I am not a motorcyle person but my daughter is.
I'm so glad I got it and here is my first card with this set.

I made it masculine this time around but I am going to change it up and make it feminine. I
can't wait to see how that one turns out!

I've included the picture of the finished inside of the card.

Come and sit a while with me card

I love the elegant simplicity of this card. I got to enjoy the stamping and the kid in me loved the coloring. Simple card with the tiniest of bling. I can imagine myself sitting on this swing with my dog at my side.  Made with the Sitting Here stamp set item number 141589
