Anxiously Waiting

Tomorrow just can't get here soon enough. I am expecting two boxes with orders tomorrow.

I would stalk the UPS man but he leaves my packages with my daughter at work and she gets them much earlier than I get them at home. 

It's going to be a long sleepless night. Does anyone else have the same anxiety when waiting for UPS?

Scrap room update

I am thoroughly exhausted today!

My room is slowly coming back together. My son and grandson finally laid down a carpet remnant and got my new table upstairs. The table itself was a huge ordeal. At first they couldn't get it upstairs because it was to big for the stairway. So back outside it went and they cut 3 inches off of each leg. I was worried it was going to be to short but it was a perfect height and now it fit to get up the stairs,

They helped me move the bigger furniture and the storage cubicles back in the room. Now everything is slowly going back into place and  I'm loving all the extra room.

Here are a couple of pictures of the room so far. My only regret is that I didn't paint the room first! Do you think he would help me take things out so I could paint? Oh yea, better not ask! LOL

Birthday card Pun Intended

Stamping with my sister today. It more fun to stamp with someone else. Gets the creativity juices flowing and fun to bounce ideas off someone else.

Made this card this evening with Pun Intended stamp set (a hostess set you can earn by booking a stamping party). Designer paper pack that has been retired. So many of the paper in the new catalog would work well with this stamp set.

Seaside Shore Stamp Set

I'm finally getting enough Stampin Up supplies to make some cards. I love the feel of the card stock we sell and the whisper white cardstock is a dream to stamp on.  Here is my first card with the set of stamps Seaside Shore. I used the layering Framelits for the circle and the scallop circle. The ribbon was in my stash (I am a ribbon hoarder).

Stampin Up Bella and Friends Stamp Set

This is another adorable set of stamps from Stampin Up. Bella the dog is joined by her friends to make card making fun and addicting. This stamp set has 11 stamps with 5 of them being sayings and word stamps.

I had fun trying new techniques on this card by sponging in the clouds. I'm pretty happy with the way this turned out.

This is just the cutest stamp set ever! There are 11 stamps in this set with six of the being sentiment stamps that are purrfect for the stamped images. I can hardly wait until I get my Stampin Up stash built up so I can use their fantastic paper and card stock.

Craft Room Makeover

Nestled up in an upstairs bedroom with slanting walls from the roof on two sides sits a very disorganized and not user friendly workspace. I decided to gut the room and start over to make it more work friendly. A lot of things won't make it back into the room. I am going to get rid of four pieces of furniture to make room for a fantastic table I found for 10 dollars at a local store.

Looking forward to the finished results.
